1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy
At enarmedia, we believe your data should remain entirely private and under your direct control. S3 Explorer is engineered to operate strictly client-side. The app connects directly from your device (Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Windows, or Xbox) to your Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 buckets without routing any data through intermediary servers owned by enarmedia or any third party.
2. Credentials & AWS Key Security
Your AWS Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, and region configurations are stored exclusively on your local device:
- Apple Devices (iOS, iPadOS, tvOS): Credentials are stored using Apple's encrypted OS-level Keychain service.
- Microsoft Devices (Windows 11, Xbox): Credentials are stored using Microsoft Windows Credential Manager / Credential Vault.
We never transmit, collect, or store your AWS credentials or secret keys on any remote server.
3. Official AWS S3 Connections & Security Standards
S3 Player uses official standard Amazon S3 REST API endpoints and AWS Signature Version 4 signing algorithms. All communications are strictly encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocol directly between your device and Amazon's official S3 cloud servers.
The app is thoroughly reviewed, vetted, sandboxed, and certified by Apple for distribution on the Apple App Store (iOS, iPadOS, tvOS) and by Microsoft for distribution on the Microsoft Store (Windows 11, Xbox). This store certification guarantees that the application runs within strict operating system security sandboxes, cannot access unauthorized device data, and contains no malicious code.
4. Data Collection & File Streaming
S3 Player does not collect, record, track, or analyze your media files, bucket contents, browsing history, or documents. When you stream a 4K video, listen to music, view photos, or open documents, the request is executed via direct HTTP/HTTPS connections straight to Amazon AWS S3 endpoints using AWS Signature Version 4 authentication.
5. Analytics & Third-Party Services
S3 Player contains zero third-party tracking scripts, advertising networks, or user profiling tools. Platform-level anonymous crash diagnostics provided by Apple App Store Connect or Microsoft Partner Center may be gathered strictly in accordance with your device's global operating system privacy settings.
6. App Naming, Project Identity & Platform Expansion
S3 Player and S3 Explorer refer to the same software application project developed and maintained by enarmedia. App names, store listing titles, and visual branding elements may evolve or be updated across different app stores and platforms (including upcoming releases such as an Android version). All versions share the same core commitment to client-side security, zero data collection, and direct AWS S3 connectivity.
